Bangor Rams Claim Early Season Win Against MDI Trojans

In an early-season matchup of unbeatens, the Bangor Rams beat MDI 50-33 at Red Barry Gymnasium in Bangor on Thursday, December 11th.

Bangor led 16-12 at the end of the 1st Quarter and then outscored MDI 14-4 in the 2nd Quarter, holding the Trojans scoreless for 6 minutes, to take a 30-16 lead. Bangor led 38-22 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

MDI was led by Avery Norwood who had 16 points, including 1 3-pointer. Ella Watson had 8 points. MDI was just 4-15 from the free throw line.

Bangor was led by Avery Clark wo had 13 points. Gabbie Roy finished with 12 points. Dalaney Horr and Lucy O'Connell each had a 3-pointer. Bangor was 10-15 from the free throw line.

Bangor is now 3-0. They will play at Camden Hills on Saturday, December 13th at 5:30 p.m.

MDI is now 2-1. They will host Hermon on Tuesday, December 16th at 7 p.m.
