Bangor Hydro Power Outage Update

Bangor Hydro Electric customers in the Enfield area including the towns of Enfield, Howland, Edinburgh, Lowell, Milford, Greenbush, Costigan, Argyle and parts of Old Town are experiencing a power outage this afternoon. Approximately 4311 customers are without power.

Restoration Details:		Bangor Hydro line crews have been dispatched to determine the cause of a widespread outage which has interrupted electric service to more than 4,000 customers in the Enfield area. Towns affected include Enfield, Howland, Edinburgh, Lowell, Milford, Greenbush, Costigan, Argyle and parts of Old Town. Once crews have determined the cause they will work as safely and quickly as possible to restore service to those affected. Customers are reminded to never touch a downed line or a tree in contact with a downed line. Anyone using an alternate heat source should follow manufacture guidelines to ensure safety.
