Ballin’ In the County – So Nice Let’s Do it Twice

For the 2nd time in less than a week, the MDI and Ellsworth Varsity Basketball Teams will be heading back up to Aroostook County, this time on New Year's Day, January 1st.

The MDI Girls and Boys will take on Presque Isle, with the games now starting at 2 p.m. The Girls will tip-off first, followed by the Boys game. The pregame will start at 1:45 and will be broadcast on WDEA AM 1370, on WDEA Internet Radio, on our free downloadable APP and on any Alexa enabled device. The bus will leave MDI High School at 9 a.m.

The games were originally scheduled for 1 and 2:30, but the extra hour will allow for snow removal up North with the expected storm.

The Ellsworth Girls and Boys will take on Caribou. The Girls will tip-off at 2:30 p.m. followed by the Boys game. The games will be livestreamed on WHOU. The bus is leaving Ellsworth High School at 9 a.m.
