What are you doing Monday afternoon July 11th? If you live in Downeast Maine maybe you want to take a trip to Baileyville on Monday afternoon, July 11th, from 3 to 6 p.m.

Baileyville Police Chief Bob Fitzsimmons is inviting everyone to Councilors Field from 3 to 6 p.m for an old fashioned hot dog roast, corn hole throw and kickball game. This is for young and old and all in between.

In his Facebook post Chie Fitzsimmons said

Want to kick something? Throw something? Good...me too. Meet me tomorrow at Councilor Field from 3 to 6. We'll kick a kickball. Throw some bean bags at the corn hole (never played and don't even know if they are bean bags..don't judge me)
I'll bring the grill, hot dogs and drinks. If you can help me out and bring some corn hole boards that would be great. This is for the young and old alike.
It's been too long since we have done something like this in the community. By the way, I don't care where you live. If you want to have fun come join us. I would appreciate any help but more than that I would appreciate all of us coming together and just having some fun. I'll only have one rule. If you can't have fun don't come.
I may have a few surprises up my sleeve for you too.
I hope to see you tomorrow.

Now if you're going, maybe you could bring a package of hot dogs and some extra juice pouches or drinks. Maybe bring some hot dog rolls or condiments. Any extras will go to a good cause, as I'm sure the Chief won't let anything go to waste!

Councilors Field is located at 6 3rd Avenue in Baileyville if you want to put it into your GPS.

All are invited, except as per the Chief's rule, "If you can't have fun don't come!"

LOOK: Here Are 30 Foods That Are Poisonous to Dogs

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.
