Today is August 4th - National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!

I'm sorry not posting this sooner, as lunchtime is just about over. But I figured if I posted it now, you could maybe have a cookie for dessert or after to supper to celebrate the day!

Thinking back, chocolate chip cookies were probably the cookie that I first learned to bake. I remember it being a big thing the 1st time I baked a batch completely by myself, following the recipe on the side of the yellow bag of Nestle's chocolate chips!

So here's to chocolate chip cookies! Get a big tall glass of cold milk and celebrate the day!
