Arizona Football Coach Rich Rodriguez’s ‘Speed’ Parody Is Bizarrely Awesome [VIDEO]

University of Arizona football coach Rich Rodriguez feels the need for ‘Speed.’

Rodriguez stars in a parody of the hit film that’s designed to voice his displeasure with a rule being discussed that would slow down the pace of college football.

The video is funny and, although it’s dated (the film did come out in 1994, after all), still makes its point. And, no -- the point isn't anyone can act better than Keanu Reeves.

Rodriguez actually plays the part made famous by Reeves and avoids making a fool of himself. Hmm, do we smell an early frontrunner for next year’s Academy Awards?
