Acadians Lose to Greece, New York 13-1
The Trenton Acadians lost for the 1st time Saturday, in the double-elimination Northeast Regional in Worcester, falling to Greece, New York, 13-1, in a 5-inning run-ruled game.
The Acadians were held to just 3 hits. Hunter Curtis had 2 singles and Peter Keblinsky a double.
Brady King started ont he mound for Trenton and went 4.1 innings. He allowed 7 hits and 10 runs, 6 of which were earned. He walked 7 and didn't strike out a batter.
AJ Lozano came on in relief, retiring 2 batters in the 5th inning, allowing 2 hits and 3 runs. He struck out 1.
Trenton committed 4 errors.
Trenton now plays on Sunday, and will have to win both games to be the Northeast Champions. We will update the matchups later tonight.
