#4 Ellsworth Girls Fall to #1 Caribou 47-37 [STATS]

The #4 Ellsworth Girls Basketball Team fell to #1 Caribou47-37 in the Class B Semifinals on Wednesday afternoon, February 19th.

Caribou led 11-7 at the end of the 1st Quarter, but Ellsworth led 19-16 at the end of the1st Half. The Vikings led 36-30 at the end of the 3rd Quarter.

Caribou was led by Madelynn Deprey with 17 points, including a 3-pointer. Liv Adams had 14 points and Quinn Corrigan finished with 8 points, including going 2-4. The Vikings were 24-28 from the free throw line with Adams going 10-11 and Deprey 8-9.

Ellsworth was led by Addison Atheron with 15 points including a 3-pointer. Violet Ray had 9 points with a pair of 3-pointers. Ellsworth was 7-8 from the free throw line.

Caribou will now play #2 Erskine Academy in the Northern Maine Regional Finals on Friday night, February 21st at 6 p.m.
