Restoration Details:Bangor Hydro crews made significant progress restoring power over night after strong winds rapidly toppled tree limbs and power lines Friday afternoon and evening. About 18,000 customers were without power at about 9:00 last night. Improved weather conditions today are expected to speed restoration efforts. Crews will be out in full force today working to restore power to remaining customers affected by the fast-moving storm.Those using alternate heat and power sources are reminded to follow the manufacturer's guidelines to ensure their safety and the safety of our crews. Customers should avoid touching fallen power lines and trees touching them and report these dangerous situations to Bangor Hydro.
