3rd Annual Chowdah Fest and Silent Auction to Benefit Mount Desert Nursing Association – March 31

Circle the date! Monday, March 31st is the 3rd Annual Chowdah Fest and Silent Auction to benefit the Mount Desert Nursing Association, and it will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at The Neighborhood House in Northeast Harbor.

Mount Desert Nursing Association is celebrating their 76th  year of providing home health care for the people of Mount Desert Island, Trenton and Lamoine.

I was lucky enough to be a judge last year, and am honored to be a judge again this year! Last year The People's Choice Award was presented to Lunch, from Bar Harbor and the Judge's Choice Award was presented to Harbor Table from Southwest Harbor. All the chowders were delicious!

This year there will be 14 restaurants serving chowder! They include

• Aloha Poke Bowl Restaurant from Bar Harbor
• Tap & Barrel from Bar Harbor

• Salsa Verde Grill from Bar Harbor
• Silver Service Catering from Mount Desert
• Cottage Street Ramen from Bar Harbor
• Next Level Sports Lounge from Southwest Harbor
• Pat's Pizza from Bar Harbor
• Finback Alehouse of Bar Harbor
• The Docksider of Northeast Harbor

Admission is $12.00 and includes unlimited tasting. There will be a cash bar and live music and a silent auction of arts and crafts from local artists.
