#3 Ellsworth Girls Knock Off #2 Medomak Valley 2-1 to Advance to Regional Finals Wednesday

The #3 Ellsworth Girls Soccer Team knocked off the #2 Medomak Valley Panthers 2-1 on Friday afternoon, November 3rd in a Class B North semifinal. Ellsworth will now play #4 Hermon on Wednesday, November 8th at 4 p.m. in the Regional Finals at Hampden Academy.

Ellsworth received goals from Kelsie Lambert and Miah Coffin. Megan Jordan had 1 assist and Elizabeth Boles assisted on both goals.

Ellsworth and Hermon split on the season. with the Hawks winning the 1st game of the season back on August 31st 3-2 in Hermon. Ellsworth won the rematch, 4-0 in Ellsworth on September 28th.

Medomak Valley's season comes to an end with a record of 12-3-1.

Ellsworth is now 12-2-2.

Our hope is to broadcast the Ellsworth-Hermon regional final at 4 p.m. and then the Ellsworth - John Bapst Boy's final at 6:30 p.m. We are trying to clear it with the Athletic Director at Hampden Academy so we can be in the press box.
