#2 Ellsworth vs. #5 Hermon for Class B Northern Maine Regional Title [LISTEN LIVE]

The #2 Ellsworth Eagles will take on the #5 Hermon Hawks on Tuesday night, June 17th at Mahaney Diamond at the University of Maine for the Class B Northern Maine Regional Title.

The winner of the #2 Ellsworth-#5 Hermon Regional Final will take on the winner of the #2 Greely (15-3) vs #8 Fryeburg Academy (11-8) Southern Maine Regional Final on Saturday, June 21st for the State Championship, which will be played at the University of Maine at 4:30 p.m.

Ellsworth comes in with a record of 13-5 while Hermon comes in with a record of 11-7. The teams split their series during the regular season, with Ellsworth winning at Hermon 1-0 on May 1st, while Hermon beat Ellsworth in Ellsworth, 8-2 on May 15th.

Both teams were well represented on the PVC Class B All-Conference Teams with the following selected to the 1st team

• Dawson Curtis - Ellsworth
• Jackson Barry - Ellsworth
• Max Hopkins - Hermon
• Mason Kinney - Hermon

The following were selected to the 2nd team

• Kyle Kenny - Ellsworth
• Tommy Meserve - Hermon

Both Curtis and Barry were named Pitchers of the Year and Hermon Coach Matt Kinney was named Coach of the Year.
