19th Annual Ton of Pasta Saturday February 20th

It's hard to believe that Saturday, February 20th will be our 19th Annual Ton of Pasta event, where our radio stations will be out in the communities, collecting pasta and more for local food pantries! We will have radio stations at the Ellsworth Hannaford, Brewer Hannaford, and Union Street Hannaford and Broadway Hannaford in Bangor.

DJ Fred and I will be at the Ellsworth Hannaford on Saturday, February 20th from 9 a.m.to 1 p.m.and all the food we collect will be split up between the Emmaus Shelter in Ellsworth, the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry in Ellsworth, Community Closet and the Bar Harbor Food Pantry!

Throughout the 18 previous years, we have collected around 63 tons of pasta, and when you realize that a box of pasta can feed a family of 4, that means that through your contributions, we have potentially provided food for as many as 504,000 meals! That's a whole lot of pasta!

Scott, Cindy and the rest of the Q-106.5 DJ's will be at  the Hannaford in Brewer.

Kid & Sarah and Z107.3 will be at the Hannaford on Union Street collecting  pasta. Everything they collect will be distributed through Penquis  to other local area food pantries and  those who need it.

J-Stew and Cori from I-95 will be at the Broadway Hannaford in Bangor
