It sure has been an odd winter! Lots of snow before winter officially began, a green Christmas, and not much snow in January, until this weekend! Down East Maine and the Bangor area is under a Winter Storm Watch from Saturday afternoon through Saturday night.

At this time, the Watch area is expected to receive 6 to 10 inches of snow and it will be windy, coming out of the North with wind expected to be 15 to 25 miles per hour, with gusts up to 35 miles per hour. Temperatures Saturday afternoon are forecast to be in the low to mid 30's and Saturday night into Sunday morning the lows will be in the upper teens to low 20's.

Stay tuned, as we will update the weather conditions throughout Friday and into Saturday as the National Weather Service in Caribou updates it's forecast.
