What If Teachers Were Treated Like Athletes? [VIDEO]

This is for all my teacher friends. I'm married to a teacher. I get how hard they work, all the hours at home and on weekends. If you think a teacher hasn't been in their school since late June, think again! They've been working on lesson plans, looking for bargains on Kleenex and school supplies so they can provide them to students who don't have the money to purchase their own.

Now compare their hours, their devotion, their efforts in teaching and training the next generation to that of a baseball or basketball player. The athlete is making multi-million dollars a year. A teacher with 25 plus years of experience is maybe making $50,000 a year. Society has it's priorities wrong.
