WDEA's Chris Popper sat down with Robin Jones from The Grand in Ellsworth to talk about what's happening at The Grand in the next week and a half.

The Grand will be having encore showings of the Tuesday night Cinegrand Movies on Wednesday afternoons at 1 PM and the matinees will be all subtitled.

This Friday night there's the free showing of "Men, Women and Children” in conjunction with various events scheduled for Suicide Prevention Awareness Week. The film is rated “R” due to some sexual content and profanity, and addresses many of the challenges our society faces today around the Internet, social media and peer pressure. The movie is being sponsored through the Safe Fund, a fund set up by Bart and Bonnie Tokas, to bring awareness to youth suicide. There will be a panel of local mental health and substance abuse counselors who work with youth and adults in our community to answer questions.

If you are feeling suicidal, or know someone who is, we encourage you to call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255
