Acadia National Park

Acadia National Park is a popular tourist destination located primarily on Mount Desert Island, Maine. It was established on January 19, 1929. The oceanside park is located near Bar Harbor, Maine, which features shops, restaurants, theaters and recreational opportunities. The park is 47,000 acres and hosts approximately 2 million visitors each year.

Effective November 1st Acadia National Park's Hull Cove Visitor's Center will be closed for the season. Park Ranger services will move to the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce's Visitor Center at the corner of Cottage and Main Street in downtown Bar Harbor. Here are other closures you can expect in November
