Road Work in Ellsworth on Tuesday, November 14th and Thursday, November 16th

If you are driving in and around the City of Ellsworth on Tuesday, November 14th and Thursday, November 16th, you should be aware of road work that will be in process.

On Tuesday, November 14th the Public Work crew needs to make repairs to a sewer basin at the corner of Davis and Oak Street. This may take most of the day. Minor delays may occur.

On Thursday November 16th, Shore Road will be closed at Pump Station Road. for required annual fire apparatus pump testing. The Ellsworth and Lamoine Fire Departments will be there from 8 a.m to 10 a.m.

Crews require simultaneous access to both water sources on the  Shore Rd causeway to effectively test the fire truck fire pumps. This will require the complete road closure during the testing process.

On both days you are asked to avoid the area in question wherever possible. In both cases you should allow extra time to get through the areas.
