Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is now a four-time Gold Glove winner. MLB managers and coaches voted Pedroia the best defensive second baseman in the American League.

He beat out Robinson Cano of the Seattle Mariners and Ian Kinsler of the Detroit Tigers.

Pedroia made just two errors in 135 games.

The sabermetiics showed the Sox second baseman had a plus/minus of +24 - meaning he made 24 more plays than the average second baseman. His +17 Runs Saved factors the numbers of plays he made to save runs vs the average second baseman.

Jackie Bradley Jr was a finalist for centerfield Gold Glove and Yeonis Cespedes a finalist in leftfield but Baltimore's Adam Jones and KC's Alex Gordon won awards at those positions.
