National Police Week May 11-17 [VIDEO]

May 11-17 is National Police Week and May 15th is Peace Officer's Memorial Day. Just this past weekend, two police officers have died in the line of duty in Hattiesburg  Mississippi. I encourage you to watch the video narrated by Paul Harvey. Yes, there are some police officers that tarnish the badge, but for the most part, a police officer is the one you turn to in times of crisis.

I'm lucky in that I have two police officers (one retired) as my neighbors,  I see the crazy hours they work, the family events they miss because they are out on duty protecting and serving. I know their wives, and can just imagine the knots of tension they must have when they hear about things going wrong, while their husbands are on the job.
