Mount Desert Nursing Association’s Chowdah Fest and Silent Auction [PHOTOS]

Mount Desert Nursing Association, celebrating their 75th of providing home health care for the people of Mount Desert Island, Trenton and Lamoine held their annual Chowdah Fest and Silent Auction at the Neighborhood House on April 1st 2024.

12 restaurants provided chowder for those in attendance to sample, and there were 110 votes cast. In addition to the People's Choice Award, a Judge's Choice Award was presented.

Judges included Eliza Bishop, Tasha Higgins, Brandon Sanders and Chris Popper.

The People's Choice Award was present to Lunch, from Bar Harbor and the Judge's Choice Award was presented to Harbor Table from Southwest Harbor.

Thanks to all in attendance, the band, and the staff from Mount Desert Nursing Association for putting on such a wonderful event.

A special thanks to those who donated and bid on the silent auction items and the 12 restaurants who provided the delicious chowder
