The Husson University Eagles lost their opening playoff game to Thomas College 10-7 at Castleton State in Vermont, and went into the loser's bracket where they defeated UMaine-Farmington 8-3, eliminating UMaine-Farmington from the tournament. On Saturday, Castleton plays Thomas at 9AM and then Husson will play the loser at 12 Noon, with the loser of that game eliminated.

In the first game, Ben Walls went 7 innings for Husson, allowing 7 runs, only which 1 was earned. He walked 2, and gave up 7 hits, including a homerun. He didn't strike out anyone, but did hit 2 Thomas players. Jordan Carter was 1-4. Husson's defense committed 6 errors.

In the second game, Husson pounded out 15 hits. Jordan Carter was 1-5 with 2 RBIs.

Husson University is now 26-16 on the season.
