High Surf Advisory on Monday

The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a High Surf Advisory for Monday, September 5th, Labor Day for Coastal Hancock and Washington Counties from 8 AM to 11 PM.

Surf heights are expected to be 5 to 8 feet and there will be strong rip currents.

Should make for great view at Thunder Hole at Acadia National Park! It probably won't be as impressive as this video from April 2016, but should be great nevertheless!

Naturally you should be careful, and not go down to the viewing platform if waves are crashing over it!
