Hancock County Firefighters Climb

Four Hancock County Firefighters consisting of a member from the Trenton Fire Department (Chief Steve Corson), Ellsworth Fire Department (Alex Deprenger), Surry Fire Department (Reggie Winslow) and Isleford Fire Department (James Amuso), all members of the 2012 Maine Fire Academy completed the 2016 Maine 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Sunday, September 18th in Portland.

These firefighters climbed the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center as a way to honor and remember the 343 firefighters who selflessly gave their lives so that others might live on September 11th, 2001. By climbing the members of Hancock County Company 3, raised $240 for the FDNY CSU and programs provided by the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to support the families of the nation's fallen firefighters.
