Friends in Action September 2023 Community Lunches

Here are the Friends in Action Lunch Menus for September 2023!

The lunches are served at the Moore Community Center in Ellsworth, every Tuesday and Thursday,  across from Knowlton Park. The cost of the lunches are $5.00.

The lunches are nutritious, delicious, inexpensive and more importantly a chance for seniors to get together in an air-conditioned setting and meet new friends or catch up with old friends!

The lunches have proven to be so popular that Friends in Action is asking that you let them know by Monday at 4:30 p.m. that you will be attending the Tuesday lunch and by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday if you will be attending the Thursday lunch, so that way they have enough food prepared and place settings set. You can either let them know at the lunch or by giving them a call at 664-6016

• Tuesday September 5th - Shepherd's Pie, Fruit, Roll and Dessert
• Thursday, September 7th - BBQ Chicken, Pasta Salad, Vegetable, Fruit, Roll and Dessert
• Tuesday, September 12th - Beef Stir Fry, Vegetable, Fruit, Roll and Dessert
• Thursday, September 14th - Chicken Quesadilla, Vegetable, Fruit, Roll and Dessert
• Tuesday, September 19th - Meatball Sub, Vegetable, Fruit and Dessert
• Thursday September 21st - Tacos, Vegetable, Fruit and Dessert
• Tuesday, September 26th - Basil Pasta with Chicken, Vegetable, Fruit, Garlic Bread and Dessert
• Thursday, September 28th - Chili, Corn Bread, Vegetable, Fruit and Dessert
