Ellsworth’s New City Manager
The Ellsworth American is reporting in their July 2nd issue, that the next likely City Manager for the City of Ellsworth will be the Interim City Manager, David Cole. Cole who has been serving as the Interim City Manager since March 23rd. Cole and Angus Jennings a resident of Concord, Massachusetts were the two finalists for the position.
Cole has been the interim City Manager since Michelle Beal left to become the Chief Operating Officer of Rudman and Winchell. Cole owns David Cole Consulting and was the Commissioner of the Maine Department of Transportation and Chief Executive Officer of Eastern Maine Development Corporation
His hiring is contingent upon successful negotiations with the City regarding contract, salary and benefits.
