Ellsworth’s Ella Montgomery Named to Varsity Maine’s Girl’s All-State Swim Team

Congratulations to Ellsworth High School's Ella Montgomery who was named to Varsity Maine's Girl's All-State Swim Team for the 2023-24 season.

Still just a junior, Ella won 2 races at the Class B State Meet in February, winning the 100 backstroke in 58.21 seconds and the 100 butterfly in 57.60.

Both of those times rank in the top 15 in Maine State history!

Ella set 3 Ellsworth High School Swim records this past season.

• 100 yard freestyle - 55.95
• 100 yard back stroke - 58.21
• 100 yard butterfly - 57.60

Additionally she was part of 2 relay teams last year (2022-23) that own school records in the 100 yard Freestyle relay and 200 yard Medley relay.
