The MDI Trojans will take the long drive up I-95 to Millinocket Friday night, September 24th to play the Stearns Minutemen. It's a rematch of the 1st game of the season where Stearns nipped MDI 48-42 on September 4th in the 1st game of the season.

The MDI Trojans didn't miss a beat on Friday night, September 17th after missing last week's game with Morse because of COVID concerns. They ran for 303 yards and had a 75 yard punt return and and 75 yard kickoff return en route to a 60-20 running time victory over the Orono Red Riots

Here's how to listen to the MDI-Orono Football Game on Friday night, September 17th. The game will be played at UMaine's Morse Field at the Alfond Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. with the pregame starting at 6:50 p.m.

The MDI Trojans lost to the Stearns Minutemen 48-42 in Bar Harbor on Saturday, afternoon September 4th. With the game tied 42-42 and Stearns marching inside the 5 yard line, it appeared that Spencer Laurendeau recovered a Minuteman fumble and ran it back 97 yards to put MDI ahead 48-42. There were no whistles. However the officials huddled together, and after a couple minutes of discussion ruled that the runner was downed and it wasn't a fumble.

Here's how to listen/watch the MDI and Ellsworth Football games on Saturday. MDI hosts Stearns at 4 p.m. and Ellsworth hosts Houlton at 5 p.m.
