159 Middle School boys competed at the Parker Pruitt Invitational on Monday, September 30th at Sumner Memorial High School. The Ellsworth Middle School Boys finished 1st in the 1.9 mile race with Mount Desert Elementary School finishing 2nd.

There were just over 9300 Emera Maine customers without power Tuesday morning, August 13th. It seems power went out around 5AM with the majority of the outages occurring in the Blue Hill, Surry, Brooklin, Deer Isle area
