Rosalie's Pizza on Cottage Street in Bar Harbor is reopening for the 2023 season on Wednesday, May 17th.

Paid parking goes into effect in Bar Harbor beginning on Monday, May 15th at 9 a.m. Paid parking will be enforced between the hours of 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 12 noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday from May 15 to October 30.

The CAT will begin service between Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and Bar Harbor on Thursday, May 25th. Ticket sales are up 58.4% for 2023 compared to 2022 as of May 2nd.

A total of 6 cruise ships are scheduled to call on Bar Harbor a total of 14 times during the month of May, 2023, with the 1st ship arriving on Thursday, May 4th.

Deputy Secretary of the Interior Tommy Beaudreau visited Acadia National Park on Saturday, April 29th where he joined federal and local leaders to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new year-round maintenance facility at park headquarters in Bar Harbor, made possible with a new $32.6 million investment from the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA).
