St. Joseph's College in Standish released the list of students who were recognized for their academic achievement for the Fall 2020 semester by earning a place on the Dean's List.

We love when we can brag about the exploits of former MDI High School and Ellsworth High School students! We want to tell you about Elizabeth Dalton, who graduated from MDI High School in 2018 and is now a junior at UMaine!

Emma Forthofer graduated from MDI High School in 2017 and headed off to school at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Her short documentary "A Fifth Season” released today, November 11th has won Best Short Documentary from the Los Angeles Film Awards, and Best Documentary from Loyola Marymount University for the School of Film and Television Awards.

Friends and family gathered in Northeast Harbor down by the marina on Sunday afternoon/evening October 18th for a luminaria memorial for Tom Savage.
