Bucksport High School Class of 2024 Honor Parts

The Bucksport High School Class of 2024 will graduate on Friday, June 7th at 5 p.m.

Principle Josh Tripp and the faculty of Bucksport High School have announced the Honor Parts for the Class of 2024.

Valedictorian, Zoe Sikkell, daughter of Robert and Diana Sikkell, is from Bucksport. Zoe is a member of the Band and Jazz Combo. She was part of the Jazz Ensemble that earned a gold medal at the State festival where she was named as one of the Top 5 Outstanding Musicians. She is actively involved with the local 4-H Club. She has also been part of the Track team and is the student representative on the Aspire Steering Committee. Zoe will be attending Alfred University where she will be studying Biology, Music and Equine Studies. 

Salutatorian, Rance Laplant, the son of Seth and Kimberly Laplant, is from Bucksport. Rance is a member of the Boys’ Soccer team and key member of the Team 6328: The Bucks Wrath. He also completed an engineering internship this past year. Rance plans on attending the University of Maine in Orono where he will be studying Engineering.  

First Honors Essayist, Isabella Brown, the daughter of Jennifer Rankin and Fred Brown, is from Bucksport. Isabella has been a part of both our Fall and Winter Cheering teams and our Indoor and Outdoor Track teams. She is a member the Science Club and in the Health Occupations program at HCTC where she earned her CNA certification. Isabella will be attending Florida Atlantic University where she will study Psychology.

Second Honors Essayist, Evan Donnell, the son of Stephan and Jane Donnell, is from Bucksport. Evan is a three-sport athlete, captain of both the Soccer and Basketball teams, and also a member of the Track team. He scored over a 100 career goals in soccer, the first to do so in program history. Evan is also the controller of the competition robot for Team 6329: The Bucks Wrath. Evan is a member of the National Honors Society and will be attending the University of Maine next year where he will be studying Engineering.
