Once again Downeast Maine's generosity will be on display on Saturday, October 21st, for the Benefit Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction for Hailee and Kinslee Phillips which will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hancock County Technical Center.

As you may recall, Gary Phillips was tragically killed in Tropical Storm Lee on Saturday, September 16th when a tree fell on his car while driving. His death left his young wife and daughter Hailee and Kinslee. I have a personal connection to Hailee, as she attended Ellsworth High School, and I used to broadcast her basketball and soccer games while she was there.

The spaghetti dinner will be by donation. There are some amazing silent auction items up for grabs, all generously donated. Some of the items include
