Bangor Hydro Electric Company has issued the following power outage update as of 9 PM. They have made great progress in restoring a lot of people's power, but there are still many without electricity.

| Restoration Details: | Bangor Hydro crews are making significant progress restoring power to customers affected by today's wind storm. About 4200 customers were without power late this afternoon in all counties served by Bangor Hydro. Power outages have been widespread across the service territory starting late this morning. Crews plan to work tonight and into the morning to restore power to customers as quickly and safely as possible. Customers should avoid coming in contact with fallen power lines and trees touching them. Generators should be professionally installed and alternate heat sources used in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines. | |
