Dogs

Today marks the official kick off to summer, which means pool season is in full swing. Few things are better than cannonballing into a pool when it's hot and sticky outside, and we've found a group of pups who seem to agree.

We already know pups are super talented, especially when it comes to things like getting all "derpy" in photos or wearing pantyhose. You know-- the usual. But, like us, you might've been totally oblivious to the fact that dogs are also really into the surfing scene.

There's a reason dogs are called man's best friend.

First of all, how could somebody just dump a bunch of adorable puppies in a trash can? Seriously? What is wrong with people? Fortunately, for every (horrible monster of a) person who throws away puppies like they're garbage, there's a person who will rescue said puppies from the trash.

Hooo boy, it is so close to being summer, we can practically hear the incessant song of the ice cream truck already. Frankly we don't want to wait until Monday to kick off the season. We can't. We've lost all control. Here are some pics of animals in kiddie pools to prove it.

Even in the face of unspeakable tragedy, miracles can occur.

CalArts student Madeline Sharafian made this to show how meaningful it is to cook for somebody you love. In this case it at least means nobody chops off their fingers because their exhausted.

Achieving a perfectly-timed picture is tricky stuff, because it doesn’t usually happen on purpose. But when these photos are done right, the result is Web G-O-L-D.

There's nothing surprising about our pets getting into shenanigans when we're not looking. Sometimes we find the little buggers in the act, and what results is adorably hilarious. But other times, we're not lucky enough to catch them red-handed, although their guilty expressions totally allude to trouble.

Maybe it's not okay to laugh at the misery of others, but would you just look at how much this corgi hates wearing a panda costume? It is hilarious.
