Wide-Eyed & Bushy-Tailed Noelle Ready For Adoption
Our SPCA of Hancock County Pet of the Week is a young one, that's for sure!
Noelle is a very cute one-year-old cat available for adoption at the shelter. She is wide-eyed and ready for some love in a nice quiet home that she can call her own.
Noelle had been previously surviving in a feral colony at the Southwest Harbor dump. She was trapped and then spayed at Small Animal Clinic, before she recently came into the care of the SPCA.
She will probably want the freedom to have outside time in her new home. But the folks at the SPCA ask that she is kept inside for a bit, until she gets used to everything. Keeping her inside for some time will minimize the chance of her bolting out the door and heading for the hills.
Noelle may be scared at first, and may even let out a small kitten sized hiss every now and then. But as soon as she warms up to you she’ll happily take some slow petting while enjoying every moment of it. She even allows the staff there to hold and love her.
Noelle is up to date with all her vaccines, and has been spayed and micro-chipped. She's all ready to go and be spoiled by her new forever family for years to come.
Because she came from a colony of feral cats, the folks at the shelter are assuming that Noelle is alright with other cats, but they're not sure how she does with dogs. Noelle will need a patient quiet home and person that is willing to give her time to come around and be herself.
Make an appointment to stop by the SPCA of Hancock County and meet Noelle, it's located on Route 3 in Trenton.
