According to a newly released list from Thrillist, the best small town bar is in Bar Harbor. The website listed Leary's Landing Irish Pub on Main St. as Maine's best bar.

As the self-proclaimed "Closest Irish Pub to Ireland in the US," this small-town watering hole takes its whiskey very, very seriously. As it should -- when you're dealing with an average wintertime low of 13.6 degrees, you're going to need all the liquid hugs you can get.
