Weather Permitting Ellsworth Schools to Resume Hybrid Model Thursday December 17th
Ellsworth Superintendent of Schools Dan Higgins sent the letter out to parents, teachers and students Wednesday, December 16th.
Schools were taught remotely on Wednesday, December 16th after someone associated with the Ellsworth Elementary-Middle School tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, 14 students and 3 staff members who were confirmed close contacts with the individual infected with COVID-19 will quarantine for 10 days from their last exposure to the individual who tested positive.
Downeast Maine is under a Winter Storm Watch with 5 to 8 inches of snow expected on Thursday, the 17th. In the event of closures or delays we will have the information on our website.
