Wardens Charge Two Brewer Men with Operating Under the Influence
Two men from Brewer face charges of operating a snowmobile under the influence after they drove their sleds into open water between Long and Mud lakes in Sinclair.
Warden Corporal John McDonald says the open water was only about 3-to-5 feet deep.
Caleb Fernald, 24, and Jake Decshaine, 25, were able to climb onto the ice and get help at a nearby residence.
Also, an overnight search for an overdue snowmobiler has ended.
A man missing since last evening was located alive by game wardens this morning at 6:30 a.m.
While snowmobiling yesterday, the man became stuck on a side trail off ITS 92 which runs between St. John and Wallagrass.
