It was a special night for MDI Football as not only did they defeat Old Town 31-7 to finish 1st in the Crabtree Class C North standings, but it was made even more special by the fact that almost 20 Trojan Football Alumni returned home to help inspire this year's team to victory!

The Trojan Football Team over the past years has been "preaching" family. It's become more and more evident to anyone who spends any time with the team. Assistant Coach Mark Arnold reached out to a little over 30 former players and invited them back to last night's game. He wanted the extended family there.

As you can see, nearly 20 were able to return, and many of those who didn't sent notes and messages. All of this was a surprise to Coach Mark Shields. The former players were on the sidelines, in the locker room with the team just prior to coming out onto the field, and were on the field with the team after the game celebrating the win!

Congratulations to everyone who made this night so special!
