Citing the rising COVID cases and a desire to keep the community safe, the Trenton Volunteer Fire Department made the tough decision to cancel their final blueberry pancake breakfast on September 25th, and the Hunter's Breakfast scheduled for October 30th.

According to their post on Facebook

After discussion over the last twelve hours, the fire department has made the decision to cancel the remainder of the 2021 breakfast season. This would include our September 26th and October 30th (Hunter's Breakfast) dates.
With the increasing concerns of COVID-19 in the area, our members felt like it was the right decision for our community, patrons, and our members.
We have valued everyone's support this year. It has been nothing short of incredible. Our June, July, and August breakfasts exceeded expectations. We loved seeing our friends and neighbors, but we also want to keep those same friends and neighbors safe. For that reason, this was an easy decision for our membership.
From the entire Trenton Volunteer Fire Department - Thank you for your continued support and be safe.
Hope we are back in 2022
