The MDI Volleyball Team beat Calais 3-2 in an exciting 5 set match at Bernard Parady Gymnasium in Bar Harbor on Friday, October 16th in a fitting end to Spirit Week and Homecoming.. The individual set scores were 26-24, 18-25, 25-23, 11-25, 15-12. It was a measure of revenge for the Trojans, as they lost their first match of the year to Calais back in early September 3-0.

The Calais Blue Devils Volleyball Team nipped Ellsworth Saturday afternoon at Katsiaficas Gymnasium in Ellsworth 3-2. The individual set scores were 18-25, 25-21, 25-12, 24-26 and 15-13.

Calais came into tonight's game against Ellsworth with a record of 10-2. Their only two losses had come at the hands of Ellsworth and Houlton. They avenged their loss to Houlton on Friday, defeating the Shiretowners on Friday, January 16th 72-41 and after a hard fought game, avenged their loss to Ellsworth, by beating the Eagles 54-52...

The Ellsworth Eagles traveled to Calais on Thursday, January 8th, and fell to Calais 67-63 in overtime. Calais led at the end of the 1st Quarter 10-9. Madison McVicar had 5 points in the Quarter and Olivia Smith had 4 points. For Ellsworth Emily Berry had 4 points and Maddie Card had a 3 pointer while Samantha Mason had 2 points...

The Ellsworth Eagles took the long ride on Route 9 to Calais, and beat the Blue Devils 78-71 in overtime to end their pre-Christmas schedule 4-1. Ellsworth sank 13 3-pointers in the game, while Calais hit 8 3-pointers. Calais took a 21-20 lead in the 1st quarter...

The Ellsworth Eagles Girl's Basketball team were coming off a loss to John Bapst, and knew they had their hands full playing host to the Calais Blue Devils on Monday, December 15th at Katsiaficas Gymnasium. They came out and played inspired defense, and rode the hot hand of Maddie Card, and soundly defeated Calais 56-29...
