Strong Winds Causing Power Outages

As of 1:30 PM Friday, November 11th, there were 2590 Emera Maine customers without power, primarily as a result of the strong winds bringing trees and limbs into contact with power lines.

Of those without power, nearly 1500 were in Hancock County. A live outage map with anticipated restoration times may be viewed HERE

The forecast calls for winds 20 to 30 miles per hour this afternoon with gusts up to 40 miles per hour and then for tonight, continued Northwest winds 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour.
