Knuckleballer Steven Wright pitched a complete game, while David Ortiz, Jackie Bradley Jr. and Marco Hernandez hit home runs as the Red Sox beat the Baltimore Orioles 7-2 Sunday afternoon. Put the Sox two games up on the Birds for first place in the AL East.

Wright is one of just three pitchers to have three complete games this year. His ERA fro the season is down to 2.45.

Meanwhile, the Sox offense pounded out 11 hits. Blake Swihart had three of them. But the biggest hit came from the least expected guy - utility infielder Marco Hernandez who blasted a three run homer to put the game away.

The Sox are 31-20 and the 31 wins is the most in the American League.
