Former MDI Trojan Kelsey Shaw scored only 2 points, but they were the game winning points, as Stonehill College upset St. Anselm College Sunday afternoon, November 27th 66-59 in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Shaw scored a put back on her own miss with 6.7-seconds to play and Stonehill held on defense at the other end to cap the comeback win. Saint Anselm College was ranked No. 23 in this week’s D2SIDA Top 25 media poll and No. 25 in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division II poll.

Shaw finished with 2 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist in 25 minutes of play.

Stonehill College is now 3-3 on the year and 2-1 in the Northeast 10 Conference. The Skyhawks return to action on Wednesday, November 30th when they visit Franklin Pierce University for a NE-10 matchup at 5:30 PM.
