Shaw and Phelps Honored

MDI's Jon Phelps and Hannah Shaw were honored today, February 19th, as they were both named finalists for Mr. and Miss Basketball as well as being named to the 2014 McDonald's High School Senior All Star Basketball Teams.

Hannah Shaw scored over 1000 points,and was a four year started for the MDI Trojans Girl's Basketball Team. Shaw was named to the 1st team Big East in 2014 and 2013 and was the co-player of the year in 2013. Shaw will lead the MDI Trojans against the Nokomis Warriors, Wednesday night at 7:05 PM in a game that will be aired on WDEA AM 1370

Jon Phelps was a four year starter for the MDI Trojans Boy's Basketball Team Jon was named Big East Co-player of the year in 2014. Phelps led his team to a 15-4 record.
