‘Sandlot’ Kittens Rescued After Being Abandoned in Snow
A horrific act may wind up having a Hollywood ending.
Four kittens that were dumped in a box and left on the side of the road during a blizzard in Cleveland last week have been saved. Someone spotted the animals and called the police, who acted quickly to make sure they'd be okay.
The felines have since been named Smalls, Squints, Repeat and Benny -- characters from the beloved movie The Sandlot.
The kittens have been taken in by the Cleveland Animal Protective League and will be moved to a foster home until they're big enough for someone to take them in. Something tells us that probably won't be too long.
There's no word on who left the animals on the side of the road.
