The Red Sox rallied from a 6-0 deficit on Sunday afternoon at Fenway Park, scoring 13 unanswered runs before Baltimore scored a meaningless run in the top of the 9th inning, and beat the Orioles 13-7 for their 5th consecutive win. The Red Sox scored 6 runs in the 6th inning, batting around, and added 4 more in the 7th.

Rafael Devers was 4-5 with 2 doubles, a homer and 4 runs batted in. He also scored 2 runs. He now has 101 RBIs on the season and has scored 103 runs. He's the 1st player with 100 plus RBI's and 100 plus runs scored in a season before turning 23 since Miguel Cabrera did it in 2005. The only other Red Sox player to do this was Ted Williams who did it twice in 1939 and 1040.. He also leads the Majors with 167 hits, 76 extra base hits, and 46 doubles.

Sam Travis was 1-4 scoring 2 runs. He had a homer which was his 4th in his last 9 games.

Xander Bogaerts was 2-5 with a run scored, and a double driving in 2 runs. He now has 7 RBIs in his last 6 games and 10 in his last 12. He has 94 RBIs which is just 9 shy of his career-high 103 in 2018.

Mitch Moreland was 3-3, scoring 2 runs. His pinch hit single drove in a row in the 6th inning. He has 10 RBIs in his last 16 games since being reinstated from the Injured List on July 23rd.

Christian Vazquez was 2-4, scoring 2 runs, driving in a run and had a double. That double set a career high with 19 doubles. He also set career highs in games (107), hits (105), homers, (18), RBIs (53), walks (23), and runs (53).

JD Martinez was 3-5 with a double, driving in 2 runs.

Nathan Eovaldi made the start for Boston, pitching 2 innings, allowing 3 hits and 5 runs.

After Darwinzon Hernandez allowed a run in the 3rd, the bullpen of Ryan Brasier, Josh Taylor, Marcus Walden and Andrew Cashner held the Orioles to only 4 hits, pitching 4  scoreless innings. Travis Lakins pitched the 8th and 9th inning allowing 1 run on 1 hit.

Despite the win, the Red Sox remain 6.5 games out of the 2nd wild card spot. Their magic number to being eliminated from the playoffs is 21
