Red Sox Beat the Marlins and the Rain Friday Night – Win 5-2 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox beat the Miami Marlins and the rain Friday night, as they won 5-2 in a game that was called after 6 innings. It was their 19th come-from-behind victory of the season and puts them a season-high-tying 11 games above .500

Alex Verdugo was 1-3 and hit the 1st pitch he faced in the 5th inning for a 3-run home run. In his last 10 games Verdugo is batting .387 and driven in 7 runs batted in.

JD Martinez was 2-3 with a double and drove in 2 runs to tie the score in the bottom of the 3rd inning. He also singled in the 5th inning.
