Red Sox 7 Royals 3 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox traveled to Kansas City to play the Royals in the start of a 3 game series, featuring the last place Red Sox against the first place Royals, yet it was the Red Sox that came away with a 7-3 win!

Eduardo Rodriguez coming off his first loss of the season, pitched very well, going 6.1 innings, striking out 5, walking 1 and scattering 5 hits. He gave up 1 earned run.

The Red Sox banged out 16 hits. Mookie Betts was 4-5. Hanley Ramirez was 2-4 with a home run. Pablo Sandoval was 2-4 with a double, Mike Napoli was 2-3 with a double and Blake Swihart was 2-4 with a double. The big inning for the Red Sox was the 2nd, when they took the lead for good putting up a 5 spot, to lead 5-0!
